I agree with McLuhan when he states that comics are an extension of the photographic media since it allows the audience to take a look at the different forms of media sources. It still has the same photographic characteristics as any other image, but it is transmitted in to a story format where the message being delivered is not common to the photographic media world. By having a comic, it enhances and intensifies the story telling experience from the visual perspective by allowing it to have more action, drama and suspense to be present. What this does is it creates life in to the comic making it more interesting than previously before when it was just a still image with no communication, or information messages. By doing so, the comic is now brought up to another level or extent, at which by doing so, it can take such effects that we are not aware of such as adding sound in to the comic book of the future, creating a verbal comic book. By creating new innovation as so, we are taking and adding another extension by rendering new ideas and technologies allowing new imaginative levels which can enhance and create another level or extension to what we are going to eventually adapt into.
